Disney Fantasia & ONE/SIZE Face & Eye Palette Review
I know what you might be thinking. Another Disney makeup review? Yes. Yes it is. These will continue to pop up from time to time. When your two passions are Disney and makeup, its hard to not jump every chance I get to dabble in the two. Especially this Disney Fantasia collection by ONE/SIZE.
What is One/Size?
Founded by Youtube sensation and makeup artist Patrick Starrr ONE/SIZE is built on the foundation that makeup is one size fits all and should be for everyone. This inclusive brand is built on the story telling and larger than life performances, making this brand the perfect fit for this collection.
What is the Disney Fantasia One Size Face & Eye Palette?
This eye and cheek makeup palette is simply stunning. It retails for $49 and packs a lot of value. The packaging is as dramatic as one would expect for the movie Fantasia and for the brand ONE/SIZE. The palette comes packaged in a Fantasia storybook box that resembles a DVD special edition. When you open the box, the palette continues to have the same beautiful design on the outside of the palette.
What products are included in the Palette?
Once opened there is a large mirror to do your makeup on one side, and the other side contains 2 highlighters, 2 matte eye shadows, 2 shimmer eye shadows, 2 matte blushes, and 2 shimmer blushes. All shades are dramatic and highly pigmented, yet neutral and can work for all skin tones.
What colors are in the Palette?
Of course the colors have the most magical Disney names for them.
- Oh Boy (shimmer white) & Yensid (shimmer pink/blue) are transformers/highlighters.
- Dream (Pink Shimmer) and Classical (Bronze Shimmer) are the shimmer eyeshadows.
- Broomstick (Matte Medium Brown) and D Minor (Matte Dark Brown) are the matte eyeshadows.
- Symphony (Peach) and Orchestra (Rouge) are the Matte blushes.
- Intermission (Golden Peach) and Finale (Shimmer Wine) are both the shimmer blushes.
How to use this makeup palette?
This palette really is an amazing palette. All the colors are so versatile that they can be mixed and matched creating so many looks. The highlighters can be used to higlight the cheeks and high points of the face, adding a huge WOW factor. But also, can be added to the eyes for a pop if needed. The eyeshadows are ultra pigmented. But are super blendable, and have some base colors as well as the colors to create depth and drama. Definitely go easy when you first use these. You can build a gorgeous dark color up in no time, but better to start lighthanded.
The blushes are also incredibly versatile with 4 looks for the cheeks but also can be swapped into eye shadows as well. Overall, this palette is a great quality with highly pigmented colors, and everything blends very nicely.
Do you need this ?
I would say that this palette really is ONE SIZE fits all. There are so many options that can be created with this palette. From the novice to the pro, the options are endless. This would be great for every day, but especially if you are going on a Disney vacation and don’t want to carry all the makeup with you, this is a great go to palette for travel. I HIGHLY recommend this palette.
What else is a part of this collection?
While I didn’t pick up the whole collection, I did pickup the mickey shaped puff and the glitter filled complexion brush. Both were perfect additions to this collection and come with the same amazing quality that you get with the palette. There is also the Bit of Magic Higlighter, Point Made Liquid Eyeliner, and Lip Snatcher Velvet Flex Cream & Cushion Gloss Lip Duo. These weren’t available when I picked this set up, but I can’t wait to get my hands on those too.
Where can you buy the Disney Fantasia One Size makeup collection?
This collection can be purchased at Sephora here or can be purchased directly on the One/Size website. Prices range from $16 for the Mickey Makeup Puff up to $49 for the amazing palette. The whole collection can be purchased as well for $165. I picked this up right in Disney Springs Sephora, if you happen to live in the Orlando area or are on vacation and need a makeup fix.
